Abstract

This article examines the significance of the Mamun Academy as one of the major scientific centers of the Eastern Renaissance and highlights the role of Musa al-Khwarizmi in the development of world science. The study analyzes Al-Khwarizmi’s contributions to mathematics, algebra, astronomy, geography, and algorithm theory, as well as his influence on the scientific traditions associated with the Mamun Academy. The article emphasizes the importance of preserving and studying the scientific heritage of the great scholar for future generations. The research is based on historical and scientific sources related to the development of science in Central Asia.
