The Ma’mun Academy was one of the most important scientific centers in medieval Central Asia. Founded in Khorezm, it brought together many outstanding scholars and contributed significantly to the development of science, education, and culture. Among the scholars associated with the academy, Ibn Sina (Avicenna) holds a special place due to his achievements in medicine, philosophy, and natural sciences. This article examines the role of the Ma'mun Academy in the advancement of scientific knowledge and highlights Ibn Sina’s contributions to world civilization. Special attention is given to his scientific works, particularly The Canon of Medicine, which influenced medical education for centuries. The study concludes that the Ma'mun Academy and Ibn Sina’s intellectual legacy played a crucial role in the development of science and continue to be an important part of the cultural and scientific heritage of Central Asia.Downloads
