This article examines the emergence of the Khwarazm Ma’mun Academy, regarded as one of the intellectual foundations of the Eastern Renaissance, and analyzes its role in the development of medieval world science through the scientific activity of the great encyclopedic scholar Ahmad al-Khwarizmi. The study highlights the academic environment formed within the academy, the distinctive features of the research conducted there, and the scholarly traditions that contributed to the advancement of rational and systematic knowledge. Particular attention is paid to al-Khwarizmi’s significant contributions to mathematics, especially algebra, as well as to astronomy and geography. The article also reveals the relevance of his scientific heritage to modern science and information technologies, emphasizing the historical importance of the Ma’mun Academy as a major intellectual center of the medieval East.Downloads
