This article explores the role of mind mapping in promoting reading comprehension among learners. However, many students experience difficulties when dealing with long and complex texts, especially in academic settings. In this regard, mind mapping appears to be an effective and engaging strategy that helps learners organize ideas visually, connect concepts, and improve understanding. The article discusses the definition of mind mapping, its main features, and its connection with reading comprehension. It also analyzes how mind maps support vocabulary development, memory, critical thinking, and learner motivation. In addition, the paper highlights the practical benefits of using mind maps before, during, and after reading activities.
