Abstract

This article analyzes the pedagogical and diagnostic foundations of identifying and developing students’ musical talent. The study covers psychological, pedagogical and methodological factors that affect the formation of musical abilities. Also, diagnostic methods that serve to identify students' hearing, sense of rhythm, creative thinking and performance potential are considered. The article substantiates the effectiveness of using modern pedagogical technologies and interactive methods in the process of music education. Special attention is paid to the issues of developing individual capabilities of students through early identification of musical talent, increasing their interest in art and enhancing their creative activity. The results of the study are of significant scientific and practical importance for use in the activities of general secondary schools, music schools and extracurricular educational institutions.
