Abstract

This article analyzes the scientific and pedagogical foundations, methodological approaches, and practical outcomes of developing engineering design skills in students within engineering education. The theoretical foundations of engineering design education, project-based learning methods, the role of computer-aided design tools, and criteria for assessing design skills are examined. The research findings demonstrate that the application of project-based learning methods, CAD/CAM software, and creative thinking strategies significantly enhances students’ design abilities.
