This article examines the process of working on composition in painting lessons, its pedagogical essence, and its role in developing students’ artistic thinking and aesthetic perception from a scientific and pedagogical perspective. The significance of composition in art education, methods used to develop students’ ability to harmonize color, form, space, and rhythm, are analyzed. Additionally, the stages of practical lessons, the role of interactive methods, and individual approaches in enhancing educational effectiveness are discussed. The study results show that the process of working on composition in painting lessons serves as an effective tool not only for developing visual skills but also for fostering creative thinking and aesthetic taste in students.Downloads
