Abstract

The article presents the results of substantiating the hydraulic parameters and assessing the water-saving efficiency of a sprinkler irrigation system for soybean, manufactured from local materials, under the conditions of semi-hydromorphic meadow- gray, medium-loamy soils with shallow groundwater in the Tashkent region. Based on field and laboratory studies conducted in 2022-2024, the optimal structural parameters of the system were determined in terms of sprinkler layout, design water discharge and operating pressure. It was established that with a spacing between sprinklers of 16 m, a pipe spacing of 5 m and a single-sprinkler discharge of 0.7 l/s, the system operates in a hydraulically stable manner, while maintaining pre-irrigation soil moisture at 70-75-75 % of field capacity constitutes the most rational irrigation regime.
