Abstract

When analyzing the operating regimes of a sewerage system, it is essential to consider the wastewater inflow hydrographs from each consumer. Furthermore, determining flow rates along individual network segments requires accounting for the wastewater travel time. The travel time is calculated by dividing the length of the segment by the wastewater flow velocity. The peaking factor (coefficient of fluctuation) does not fully characterize the wastewater inflow regime, as it fails to encompass all the factors influencing flow variability.
