Abstract

The article examines the impact of investments on the efficiency of agricultural entrepreneurship on the example of four agro-zones of the Kashkadarya region of Uzbekistan. Based on the data on investments per hectare of land for 2010-2025, the dynamics and inter-zonal differences in investment activity are analyzed. The theoretical framework draws on the works of foreign scholars (A.Smith, J.M.Keynes, T.W.Schultz, S. Kuznets, S.Fan, P.Hazell, P.Pingali, M.Porter). It is substantiated that investments influence agricultural efficiency through technological modernization, deepening of value chains and development of human capital. Practical recommendations are proposed for improving the structure and monitoring of investments in the region's agro-zones.
