Abstract

This article examines the transformation of Uzbekistan’s foreign policy in the context of changing regional and global power relations. It focuses on strategic autonomy, multilateral diplomacy, and Uzbekistan’s growing role in Central Asia. The article argues that the country’s contemporary foreign policy should be understood not as isolation from major powers but as an effort to preserve decision-making flexibility through diversified partnerships, regional engagement, and participation in international institutions.
